Reclaiming loan owed to my by ex Boss - Next stage?

Hello All

My first time on here, very extensive to say the least haha.

I am owed a considerable amount of money by my now recently ex-boss. I agreed to invest/loan some of my life savings in his company purely on a short term basis. He stated he would pay back end April 08.

He has since kept changing the dates, the latest being a mid july.

I handed in my notice beg of july, and issued him and hbis company a 21 day Statutory Demand for repayment of my lona to him.

He never replied, or even set aside the Stat Demand.

Not sure what to do now, any free legal advice would be gratefully received as not sure if to wait, get a solicitor, commence moneyclaimonline etc etc.

I have all my paperwork, receipts, emails, his emails, cheque copies...everything.

Kind regards

Mark

  • Give him one last chance by sending a letter before action.

Is your ex boss self employed or a limited company?

If it involves a large sum I would get proper legal advice.
