Hi to all of you and thanks to all the comp posts:T

right then i started comping about 6-7 weeks ago in my 1st week i had 2 wins over the moon with them

wen i enter i tick/un-tick for newsletters
always my mobile number
could not be helping? i know im not going to win everything just wanted to ask to put my mind at rest that its something im doing/not doing

i always put my mobile cos we dont have a landline...maybe thats where i'm going wrong lol

Hiya! From what I've learnt so far it shouldn't matter that you untick or tick the boxes (apart from some smaller companies who get a bit squiffy about it !!!) and your mobile number isn't a problem either - as long as they can get in touch with you that's all that matters. Think it just depends on random luck to be honest!!! :rotfl: hth Happy Comping! xxx

yeah it is just random luck mostly and some people have more luck than others!

i always un tic the boxes an use my mobile as a contact number, i have won alot of prizes this years so i think it is just luck....;)

I always use my mobile, been comping almost a year and never had a winning telephone call though.

But I always untick newsletters etc too and have won lots in the post so that doesn't seem to matter.

2 wins in your first week is pretty damn good.

I always untick the boxes. Plenty of people still win with them unticked.

hiya - I always use my mobile number (so I can call screen ) and always untick any boxes I can! And from my sig I reckon I'm doing ok.

I also usually use my mobile number and I also normally 'un tick' any contact boxes - I'm averaging about two wins a week (although August is being particularly kind for wins).

I have a comp mobile :rotfl: abit like the batphone..........but hasn't rung as yet :mad:

Guess its the luck of the draw. I started comping late July and had 1 win :rotfl: that was afew days after i started but none after that and thats after entering about 200 comps a day on average.

I'm not bothered at the minute with regards to winning because i've only just started and picked up my comp rate per day but i would :wall: if i didn't win owt after afew months :rotfl:

I just enjoy comping and ppl are right, it is addictive

I untick most boxes and use my landline unless it specificly (how the 'beep' do ya spell that word?) asks for a mobile. Have won a few things since starting back to comping in June
