I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem but the only way to know for sure is to ring your HR department and ask the question (you can do so anonymously.)BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Hi LBL,
I can't see that the service would be interested unless they thought he might set fire to your home for the insurance,if I remember rightly the highest % of jobs for an arsonist is the FB.
Laybylover??? certainly got my imagination going Hope you can put my mind at rest

Hi,
Perhaps give the union a call. You can then chat confidentially. I would not have though that BR in fire service would offer any kind of risk unless you are in a financial/advisory/accounting role in the service.
Hope helps,
