I now realise I could ask for a CCA, but I have sent letters to all creditors offering a payment. I think this is probably admission of my debt, and means it is too late to ask for a CCA - am I correct?

I don't think so, most people asking for a CCA will have been making monthly payments for ages anyway.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 1026 - Proud to be dealing with my debtsDebt at LMB: £22500. If you were claiming that the debts were statute barred, it would be argued that these offers were an acknowledgement of the debt. You have a legal right to request a copy of your CCA at any time however. There is no time limit for when you can request this and it does not matter if you have acknowledged the debt or even been making payments towards the debt. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

And if the debt was already statute barred, your letter would not affect the situation. It would make a difference if the debt was just inside the limit for the Statute though. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

You can still ask for your CCA hun, they have a legal obligation to supply it, xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
