question about cca requests

Sorry if this has already been answered but i couldnt find it with a search, i read about quite a few people having their postal orders cashed and then being removed as part payment from the debt would it be possible to put in a line in the inital request letter saying that if they did this then it would be accepted as a full and final payment and that no further action would be available to them.
just wondering about the legality of this and if it was possible then maybe it would force the compaies to take more care to read what was sent them and take things more seriously.

You can put what ever you like in a letter ,but they do not have to agree to it. An agreement has to agreed by both parties in writing .0

Hi
The £1 is the maximum legal payment they can demand - they are not obliged to charge anything. So if they pay it off the debt, so well and good.
What they cannot do if your letter is correct is imply that you have agreed to make regular payments or to get round the Statute of Limitiation, by setting the £1 against the account, although they might suggest this in a letter. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
