Mr Bean animated dvd

Can anyone help?

My daughter absolutely loves the animated version of Mr Bean but I can't find a dvd or video of it anywhere. Have searched the usual places - amazon, cdwow, play.com, hmv etc - amazon have a few but they're all region 1 (unfortunately my dvd player only plays region 2)

Can anyone suggest anywhere else? I'm not keen on using e-bay.

I have been looking on e-bay as a last resort and I might put a bid in on one of the single dvds. There's 4 days left so I'll keep looking.

The one with the 2 discs looks good value but they want £6.99 postage and although it says based in UK when you look at the member profile they're actually in Singapore. There's a few sellers with different id's selling these products - all based in Singapore. That's what makes me wary.

Why dont you just tape it off the t.v, its on alot on the kids channels, my kids also love it, I've seen them all over & over & over again !! ;D ;D ;D

what model is your dvd player? you might be able to unlock it to play all region dvds with a couple of button presses.

It's an Alba DVD55. I've tried to find a hack but with no luck.

Re taping it off the telly - my video is broken. Only plays back but doesn't record.

hi, just done a search and apparently if you load a region 1 dvd as normal but hold down the number 1 on the remote it will work.

i wouldnt purchase any on this basis, have you got any region 1 discs you can try it on?

just searched further and wouldnt bother with this one, the disc will play but there will be a "wrong region" message on screen and some remote commands wont work.

no problem, would probably work out cheaper if you got a new multi region dvd player ;D
