Average Mortgage?

Hi

No real thoughts behind this or anything but we were talking about this in work - What is currently the average mortgage?

I am paying £948 per month....22 years of payments left, on a house worth £200k. Think I have £146,000 left to pay.

Have another 3 1/2 years left on a 5.29% fixed deal.

No real thoughts behind this...Just wondering that is all!

    Average what exactly?

There is no such thing as the "Average Mortgage" im afraid, so I dont really understand what you are getting at. Do you mean the average interest rate for a mortgage? Again its hard to say as there are thousands of different mortgages all with different features, so unless you want to specifially compare 2 Year Fixed rates, or lifetime tracker rates, then its impossible to say waht "average" is.
