Homemade sweets for Hampers

Hi,
I was hoping to do some sweets with Kids for hampers as presants,
They have already made the flannel reindeers and have a few more ideas form this site we,ll do,
But its the sweets i,m a bit worried about--i just thought we,d do Co!!!! Ice, Fudge etc--i have the Jars for them so they,ll be stored ok but how far in advance can i make them? i don,t want them been opened christmas day for tem all to have gone off
, i know someone asked advice on making fudge on here this morning but i can,t find it now to see what advice she got,
Also wanted to make a flannel snowman--any advice welcome:beer:

Thanks--i already have some reciepes but loads more on there we can pick from,
I was wondering how far in advance they can be made? as i won,t be able to wrap the baskets up till these are done,
