Morrisons cuts petrol prices for a third time

Morrisons is handing drivers a Monday morning boost by cutting 2p a litre off diesel and unleaded petrol with immediate effect – the third cut on the company’s forecourts in as many weeks.
Phil Maud, Petrol Director, said: “Monday morning will seem a good bit brighter for drivers today with yet more welcome news from Morrisons.
“We’ve proved it over and over again. When the price of crude and refined product falls, our customers are the first to see the price at the pumps fall as well, with no catches.
“This is another simple price crunching reduction and shows yet again that we’re committed to delivering real value for all our customers – whether they’re filling up at our forecourts or shopping in our stores.”

Yes I noticed this morning my local Morrisons (east midlands) had reduced by another 2p to 110.9p unleaded
As the greedy gas companies keep saying that the price of gas is linked to the oil price surely they should be slashing the price of gas too!0 -

Yup, Asda have too - the boyfriend paid 110.9p a litre this morning. Still ridiculously expensive but better than nothing.Dry January: 31/31 days. :T0

Morrisons at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol were 108.9 today, about 2p cheaper than everywhere else I saw on the journey. Not sure how long they'll stay that cheap though?0

Just to clarify. Morrisons price for petrol is 108.9 p which is 2p cheaper than everywhere else (until they play catch up of course)0
