  • Go get it now, leave it too late and you may well be disappointed if there's no stock available.

Argos have them back in stock, if not in your local store, you should be able to get home delivery.

You're probably not going to get it much cheaper than the standard £179 value pack. But at least with Argos you'll get a £10 Argos voucher back, if you buy before 6th November.

PSP comes with a 32mb memory stick, which is okay for games saves, but if you want to do more with the machine then you'll need a 512mb minimum. I'd recommend a 1gig stick, under £60 if you shop around.

Also buy a screen protector and a case, say about another £20.

Any more info. either ask here, or pm me.

    Cheers,

does this mean the psp comes without a 32 mb stick ? ... how does it operate without it ? seems odd ... might just order anyway as the 32 mb stick is near useless anyway

Try boots for the PSP - if they have it online you can use a code for £15 off or one for 1500 points and get cashback if you purchase through https://www.quidco.com

I got one for my brother a feww weeks ago this way - AND it was a value pack :)

That's the value pack, so contains the 32mb card, etc.

i got mine from yes asia - see earlier thread. very happy with it and ships with firmware 1.5
don't bother with the value pack - its useless. you'll need a better case and bigger mem card anyway. and the headphones are rubbish. save your £18

It means that you will be able to play R2 movies on your PSP as opposed to R1 if you bought from the US or Canada. The UK is R2 so if you're going to buy movies in the UK then get a UK or Japanese one. If you're going to source movies from the US or Canada (as they are probably cheaper) then you'd be better off with a US/Canandian one. If you simply don't care about buying UMD movies then just go for the cheapest!

    HTH :)

I think you find that yesasia have now run out of the earlier firmware models and now dispatching firmware version 2.01 and possibly above, not a problem if you don't want to use it for homebrew stuff. But it will be if you do...
