Hi everyone,
I'm more of a lurker on here to be honest - I think its a great site!
I am after a bit of advice/ideas please ...
It's our best mates birthday this weekend who is also our daughters godfather and we really need to find him a present. Anything he wants he just goes and buys so we cant get him cds/dvds etc.
He doesnt read other than joke books etc that we usually buy him every year!
He's into gadgets and the A team lol and thats about it. Not into sports really other than boxing.
Budget £20-£30.
I was thinking of getting this http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/5307542/Meccano-Spykee-Micro-Robot/Product.html but think it may just be a waste of money!
Any ideas what be great.
Thanks in advance

I'd be tempted to get something like this:
http://www.buyagift.co.uk/Category/Id/2144/Name/Oxfam_charity_gifts
https://www.farmfriends.org.uk/buy-an-animal
There's lots of them - I've just picked those quickly from google. If you like the idea, it is worth checking them out first to make sure the recipients are getting the best for your money?
I think it's daft paying £20-30 for something you know is not going to be well used, and definitely not needed. At least this way someone benefits from it.0 -
I know you said that he has got a micro flyer which has been hardly used, but what about a remote controlled a-team van?

Maybe a bit soppy, but I know my hubby or I would love something like that with a picture of our God daughter on. Have you got a nice picture of him with you daughter you could use?
Hope that helps.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
