Without wanting to contradict Martin (who is my moneysavinghero), I feel I should add that when companies spam people (as this bank/building society has clearly done), it is common practice to state employees are "work experience" as a way of attributing some blame, when, in fact, those employees are just regular workers in the marketing department.
It's despicable working practices, but not uncommon at all; in fact MSE is lucky it doesn't get more of these...0 -

Sadly we get a PHENOMENAL number of these to all our public addresses (1,000s a day), the key to this is it was sent to one of the operational emails that isn't public and thus required a manual imput.Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

That must be horrendous! Ugh. The spammers are a persistent lot, aren't they? Annoying for you to have to pursue them offline, but at least you've got a 'real' (as opposed to purely digital) address/company to make a complaint to - should the problem persist and legal action need taking...

Hello, My name is Steve and I am contacting you on behalf of myself.
I read your homepage and found your site contains some quality content relating to all sorts of things. I would like to request a link from this page. While this wont benefit you, or your customers at all, it will benefit me greatly. it would also probably detract from your website layout. Could you reply to me either way if you are interested in this offer or not?
I look forward to hearing from you.
