ok peeps what the hell am I going to do about a party for DD next weekend. She will be 3 but has requested a party as all her friends have had one. Plenty we could do if the weather is fine but I can't rely on this and therefor need a wet weather plan. Thought about an indoor play place but they want £8 per child and you have to have their awful food. Thought about hiring a hall and hiring loads of play stuff to go in it...although this seems to over the top as there will only be 9/10 children.

have them all over for jelly and ice cream, pin the tail on the donkey and a treasure hunt followed by cake? You could do it all for less than £8 per head and if the weather is good the same activities will transfer outside...

I would love to have them all to our house but we live in a shoe box and there simply isn't enough room...the less said about our garden the better (stamp sized). Just wished I hadn't wasted so much money on crap and then we could have a bigger house.

Oh well back to the drawing board

If you have enough of a garden get a cheapy gazebo awning thing to combat any rain - probably dirt cheap in Asda or B&Q with all the sales going on.
