Hiya guys,
I am quite new to the Special Occasions board and crafting and am struggling a bit with finding where you guys buy all your great bits and bobs so thought maybe you could post a few links to your favourite sites and ebay sellers, I can't get about very well so can't really get to hobbycraft etc so this would be really helpful cheers,

I use Flower Hour for cellophane and bows but tend to go through their ebay shop... http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Flower-Hour_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm. Ebay is fab for all things crafty but watch out for p&p costs, some sellers charge a lot!
I've got baskets from Au Naturele (ours has closed down now  ), Home Bargains, Matalan, Wilkinsons, Dunnelm Mill, Asda & Tesco.
I have bought flannels from Asda, Morrisons - about 49p each. Wilkos flannels as mentioned above are 25p. Pile not as thick but fine to make things with!
If you fancy having a go at a door hanger, this ebay seller is fab (price good too!).
Good luck

Thanks guys, would have probably helped you more if I had said what I intended to make lol but you've kind hit the nail on the head.
Am making Flannel muffins, have got flannels and ordered some muffin cases from ebay just need fancy pins now.
Chocolate slabs - easy enough as can get stuff from supermarket
Bath bombs and bath salts - thanks for the link above
Door hangers - ordered them from the ebay shop, thanks rainmac. Just need the paper etc now.
Am making hampers, 2 boxes will be papier mache one from matalan and the others probably poundstretcher or wilkos
Am making a sock monkey - have the socks just need the filling,
Will probably buy cello and bows from flowerhour on ebay
Have any of you used http://www.handyhippo.co.ukYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I've used Handy Hippo in the past and the service was excellent. I'm still on their mailing list and get emails but haven't bought from them for ages.
For the door hangers, if you use 12x12" scrapbook paper you will manage to cover 3 sides of hanger (so one both sides plus one side of another). Does that make sense? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Perfect sense rainmac I already have my sketches for how I want them to look just need to buy the stuff now
