Can anyone give me some information please

Could anyone please give me some advise my partner has been unemployed since last year he previously had a good job & we have massive debts the Citizens Advice have made arrangements with most of them for £1.00 & £5.00 a month for periods up to 6 months.
I cannot see us ever making any inroads to paying any off the debt my question is what will happen has anyone been in this position.
The situation is just hopeless and as my partner is in the building trade there is no immediate hope of work especially not at the money he was earning.
I am unable to work as I am a carer for my elderly parents & a small child.
We just keep selling things to get from one week to the next what happens when there is nothing left to sell.
We get unemployment benefit & child tax credit.

Hun, I think you are going to get the same replies as you got in March

Post up details of what you have going in and out of your household (moneywise that is ) and we can give you better answers.
There isn't (usually) a simple answer, just as there are many ways to get into debt, there are many solutions.
None of us are (or should be) going to make judgements, we just cannot give full answers without this information.
Have a look at the sticky at the top of this board, collect together your paperwork, make a cup of tea and post a SOA -

Could your partner find something in other areas, like shop work? Sign up to temp agencies? Retrain at college? Are you getting carers allowance?0

I have the thing from the Cab here how do I post it?0

You could try filling in the SOA calculator - details with any APR's would be useful.

Any chance your partner could take over the role of carer / childcare allowing you to go to work? Or the other idea of looking for something in a different area sounds like a good one.
