MOJT well done you, I so hope things can be sorted out with you and your OH. From experience when OH was grieving after his mother died our relationship was awful (didn't help that DS2 was born 4 weeks early the week before she passed) also when my Dad died we went through another really horrid patch. It is tough to be in a relationship with someone who is grieving and also tough to be in a relationship when you are grieving.

Pooh the book is really short and easy to put down after a few pages and then pick up again, I hope you enjoy it. Another good book is 'A day book of comfort and joy' - very american but just one page a day. Enjoy your glass of wine.

Not got much done, feeling really fed up and unmotivated. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be more on form. Washer just stopped from wash 3 so time to get that out on the maiden as it is late in the day and fill with a wash for tonight's E7

    Hi everyone.
So many people to mention but my memory is like a sieve so I'll just send :grouphug: and say that I admire you all - everyone has there own mountains to climb.
Well after a few days of taking it easy the house now looks like a pit. Hope I feel up to tackling it next week. At the moment I still feel as if someone has kicked me hard in the back and I'm rather bruised but I'm sure it will all be worth it.
DH decided we had to go and get school shoes today for DD - we must have tried on every pair of shoes in Clarks before we found ones that fit properly. Then he wanted to go to Matalan and then Costco. We didn't get home till 3pm and I'm shattered now.
Time for a :coffee: anyone want one?
  • Yes please Davgirl. No drink for me as I'm picking up DD from town later on ;)

All the little horrors are out at work in various pubs bars etc. Yes, one of them will be in the pub I go to!

You can expect impeccable service, then!

    Evening

No motivation now and I still cant make my mind up whether to go to OH's cousins 50th tomorrow. He hadnt mentioned it any more other than to text when I was out to say could I wash a particular pair of jeans and tshirt for tomorrow  . He then went back to work before we got home so I told him to ring about tomorrow and we ended up having anrgument on the phone again so I cut him off and ignored his next call, Why cant I just keep my mouth shut.

That reminds me has anyone ever had vitamin B12 injections as I have to start having them next week  . When I looked it up one of the symptoms of a deficiency is irritability :rotfl: think thats me ? :rotfl: . Just wondered if they are as painful as iron injections.

MOJ2 Really glad that things are looking up for you
Sexymouse I am soo jealous (althou couldnt get the link to work) have always fancied Egypt
As for all you other mad people letting of steam and having fun :T :A :T :A you are brilliant for moral.

Still done no flying today as took the kids out to the supermarkets for more bargains I really dont need but too good to pass up really. The coop had some really good offers on but why did I buy another 8 tins of Heinz beans (25p a tin instead of 52p) when I already had 7 in the cupboard. We probably use about 1 a month. And as for yoghurts I have a ridiculous amount, and I bought another 3 sets of underwear today - what is wrong with me - MSE does not mean buy every bargain you come across and stash it away.

tea tonight has so far consisted of Tuna pasta salad for DS that he ate in the car between supermarkets (down from 1.99 to 59p :D ) and DD wanted spaghetti hoops on toast, I cant be bothered yet which means I'll eat chocolate later :o probably.

Best go and update some finances  see ya later

Notice your use of Lancashire dialect (maiden) there Dusty. I'm originally from there so that's what we call it. Whereabouts are you? And mince hash, too! They make it with corned beef hereabouts!

I'm hoping to visit Oswaldtwistle Mills next week...mmm coltsfoot rock...sarsaparilla tablets...STEAK PUDDING
