I am almost certain to not go into my overdraft this month which hasn't happened for years. Honestly can't remember the last time I stayed in the black. I've only got to last 4 days and I've got about £17 in my account with everything paid for and a full tank of petrol. Also got a DVD refund to come back for £11.99 so I'm am well chuffed!

Thank you all for your kind words.
I know it doesn't sound like much but it basically means I'm not spending money I don't have anymore.
Also reduced my Egg limit to £1,500 from £8,600. Although it makes no difference to the ammount I owe I feel a lot more positive about things!

Well done!
I love reading this site - you are all an inspiration!
I have been on the working with my debt situation since September 2005 and not in the red (with bank account) since then, steadily paying off what I can, and I can sleep more easily now... just got to clear all the debts now!!! One small step at a time methinks.
