All my clothes are old clothes
I wear them.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Hiya, you could make an old t.shirt into a peg bag by sewing up the bottom and coathanger through the top.
The school shirts you could let the kids paint on for a craft afternoon. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0 -
If the Jeans are just too short, rather than too small, you could cut them down to make 3/4 lenth trousers or shorts.T shirts make good pajama tops if just a bit tatty,.Make sure you save any buttons if you rip up the shirts for dusters.0

really manky stuff I cut into 'one use and throw' rags for particularly evil jobs. If you sew, there are loads of shopping bag instructions on t'interweb, or cut into shapes and do some patchwork quilting. cut off a jeans leg, stuff with cloth rags cut from your heap of clothes, tie or sew up each end - quick draught excluder. can some of them be cut/sewn/patchworked into napkins instead of kitchen roll for eating?0

I would be tempted to save anything which could be cut up to patch other items in future eg jean patches for trousers gone through at the knee, and anything that could be cannibilised for fancy dress eg old white school shirts - cut the collar off and they are an instant generic "olden days" shirt for Victorian/Tudor costume days etc0

Here is what I used to do with DDs clothes. Short trousers/dungarees became knee length ones for summer. Shorter tshirts could become dressing by adding material to the bottom, skirts can have layers added to them ( under skirts/frills etc) cardigans can loose sleeves and become summer boleroes and the like. Long coats can become jackets.
Summer dresses make for great patchwork, thicker skirts and jeans can made into great bags, tshirts can be cut in to strips for weave rugs or for knitting/crocheting with, coats can be used to make patchwork picnic blankets, rags can be used for cleaning and polishing, or to stuff cushions, especially good for animal beds.Put the kettle on.
