I purchased this item in good faith.
its woolies job to keep their house in order.
they make millions every year through similiar transactions.
will put pen to paper if this is not honoured.
just wasted my childs christmas and all that....
  • Hmm. This is from Tesco's T&C's:

The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out on the web site. If, by mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we dispatch the item concerned.

There will be no chance of them dispatching now the error has been pointed out, I would think. :-/

  • is it possible they all used the same company of people to program their price changes etc ? Or do they have their own staff to do their online website maintainence ?

My guess is that they use a common supplier, and it was they who got the price wrong.

I use to work for an online retailer...no longer though. If I remember correctly once a week they uploaded product information from another company. If the information passed to them was wrong...then it ends up being wrong on the site.

Can't remember any more than that as I wasn't directly involved in the upload...just comments I remember.

I recived an email from tesco, i never sent them an email but seem to got a reply to a question that i never sent....... strange.

It said that the item is a game not console pack.......

BUT i replied back now saying

With reference to your email ********* about my recent order, please refer to the following article, which i have  copied and pasted below. This is the bundle i have purchased and Nintendo have confirmed the name and contents that i will be recieving for £34.88. Please note the Nintendo release date is the same as your site and also the same as the name of the item i purchased.

    Thanks in advance

Nintendo releases two more bundle paks...

    19 Oct 2004

...but haven't we seen them before? Nintendo has announced it will release two bundle paks in November, in preparation for Christmas.

The first pak is the Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Platinum Pak, which includes a copy of the game, a platinum coloured GameCube and controller, all for £79. The second bundle is the Pokemon Colosseum Pak, which features a copy of Pokemon Colosseum, a black GameCube and a memory card.

Great offers, you might agree, but they're hardly new. Nintendo released a Mario Kart: Double Dash!! pak last November (although it came with a black GameCube) and the Pokemon Colosseum bundle was originally available in May. However, at these new low prices we shouldn't grumble.

The Mario Kart: Double Dash!! Platinum Pak will be available in stores across the UK from 5 November. The Pokemon Colosseum bundle is available a week later, on 12 November
