Endowment query

Total Fund Value £18,826
Final Bonus £3,177

Total plan value £22,003

So considering I pay in £130 per month its money down the drain (£260 in but only worth £150 more than July)

Anyway I was just hoping for say 1 week of stability in stockmarket before posting off surrender letter but at the moment I would be happy with 48 hours :rolleyes:

How dependant on shares is my endowment policy?

Well I reckon you're lucky! I've got a unit linked endowment, which I want to surrender as final piece of my mortgage payoff plan! I'm just looking for market to stabilise so I know what I'm gonna get, as mine depends on market at close of play on day I surrender! Had hoped US deal would mean I could close today! Fat chance huh???

Mine is worth a lot less than statement said in May & I've been paying in £135pm.:mad:

About 40%.But all markets are quite seriously down over the past 18 months, bonds and property as well, not just equities.
