Remortgage after 3 months

Hi,

I bought a house about 2 months ago, now I would like to remortgage.

My current mortgage has no tie in and I have equity because I bought the house cheap.

Does anyone know if it is possible to remortgage earlier than 6 months of ownership?

I am assuming this forum is visited by mortgage brokers.

Thanks,

seabro

  • I can't think of any lenders just now who are remortgaging earlier than 6 months.

What do you need the funds for (not wanting to be nosey). Are you just after a better deal than SVR with your lender, of are you wanting some of the equity out of the house? You may be able to do that through a secured loan or further advance.
I am a Mortgage Consultant and don't like to be told what I can and can't put in a signature so long as it's legal and truthful.
