Save on phone calls to your bank

Hi All
most banks use 0845 numbers to contact them (i believe 3p p min?) If you are on a phone supplier that either gives just a connection fee then free calls or you use VOIP then you can save by using the international number that is on the back of your credit card dont use the 44 and put the 0 on, it is then a normal UK code, with the time they take to go through the menu's and then waiting for your connection you should save :j :T :j

  • Most companies, who advertise a 0845/0870 number will have an 'proper' landline number listed somewhere, and, if like me, you get free calls all day, you will not have to pay for the call, unless you dial the non geographical number.
  • It would be interesting to know how much you are paying per month for these "free" calls Andy icon12.gif

Please see the Telephone Boards for further information about Voip and the website https://www.saynoto0870.co.uk which Martin proudly sponsors icon7.gif
