Melted a bar of white chocolate, got some left, what to do?

Hi,
I melted a bar of white chocolate to put on a cake, and there is too much for the cake. What shall I do with the melted chocolate which is left?
Thanks. :D

    No :(

Though I've just found a heart tin, so put it in that. There was only a small quantity left. But I'd be greatful for any other suggestions for next time. :)

Not sure if this is what you mean you've done already, but I'd pour it into ice cubes trays - fancy shapes if you have them - with blueberries, raisins or goji berries and put in the fridge to set :)

    Dip strawberries in it. Mmmmmmm.
Or mix in dried strawberry pieces and add a little alcohol, beat together and put in the fridge to set then foll into white chocolate and strawberry truffles. Dust with grated chocolate or if you can't be bothered to grate it (I never can be) use cocoa powder used for drinking chocolate.

scjs2008 - are you eating the choco fingers whilst putting sprinkles on the kids?!! I have the image in my head.

Dip pretzels in white chocolate. The combination of the salt and the sweetness are divine plus they make very good skulls for our annual Halloween tea!

  • Extend index finger, place finger above bowl, then lower finger into bowl, make a short circular motion in the chocolate and then place same index finder into mouth and make, hmmmmmmmmmm noise :D
