V+ box for £75 until end of Sept

Just investigating how I can get HD as we have a HD TV and I fancy seeing some of the Olympics through the BBC HD service.
We have our TV etc through Virgin Media, and to get HD it seems you need to gat a V+ box. Price on their website is £150.
I just rang them to find out a bit more and the man serving me said the V+ box is available until the end of Sept for £75.
I think they have had this offer running in the past, but most places say until 1st July.
