    Hi Merlot

ps I have just googled debt management and filled out some info for something called www.trapped.co.uk for a debt management plan and someone is going to be in touch in 24 hours, worth ago

 NO, please don't go to a debt management company that charge you fees. Go to one of the free ones, Payplan are paid by the credit companies, I think, CCCS get their money by holding on to your money for a few weeks before paying your creditors. There are links all over this forum. I don't know about the others but you can fill in the CCCS form online, you don't have to wait until Monday morning.

National Debtline have lots of factsheets etc.
If you are struggling as it is, what is the point in paying fees as well?

If CCCS couldn't help you, try national debt line or Payplan, DO NOT USE THE COMPANY YOU HAVE CONTACT TODAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PLEASE.

Okay, so that one will be gone in three months, then you can concentrate on the Capital One.
So you need about 30 hours a month at minimum wage to break even, that's about 7 hours a week - could you do a couple of nights in a bar when hubbie is home?

Oh my god, eek, that fills me with dread.
I am going to get in touch with paypal, just filled in the online form, tried cccs but kept kicking me out and will try the others, really want to make things a bit easier for us.

We could sell the caravan it is pitched up at the mo (which we paid in advance for) but we prob wouldnt get enough to pay the finance back, so we were waiting for the season to end.
Like I said in the first posting some months hubby does get more, this is based on a worse case scenario,

Seven hours a week isn't very much - two evenings tops

I know what you mean, I'm returning to work in September, its just a wee part time job and I am dreading it, the first two days will be awful but I keep thinking after that it'll get better, it takes a lot to get a job after being out of work for sometime, but If I can do it, you certainly can.
