paying the mortgage by credit card

Hello, i have a Natwest offset mortgage and a 10 month interest free on purchases credit card. I want to pay the mortgage with the credit card and keep the money for the mortgage in the offset account to offset the interest on the mortgage. (And pay the minimum payment on the credit card until the interest free period ends). The problem is that Natwest say that they can't accept a credit card payment, and that credit cards are only accepted by retailers. Can anyone help? Thanks.

You would probably find that even if they accepted the payment, the credit card provider would treat it as a cash advance and it wouldn't be part of the interest free deal anyway ....it has been asked many times before ....seems a good idea, but doesn't work.0

Can you not put monthly spends/bills on the card up to the value of your mortgage payment. Although a bit more fiddly, it would accomplish the same thing (I think).0

If you do a search you'll find this question has been asked many times before.0
