Hi Jules
I use MS Money 2004, which I don't like as much as Quicken but does the trick. You might be able to pick up a second hand copy if you search around. Not sure if there are any newer versions around - I heard a rumour that Microsoft stopped making it for the UK market a couple of years ago, but may be bringing it back soon.Mortgage-Free Wannabe!

I bought Microsoft Money 2006 from Ebay for about £5 I think. Have a look, you can get the cd's from Ebay really cheaply.
I like Microsoft Money, its pretty good.

You could always do this for free by setting up a simple spreadsheet in Excel or similar.
Mine is:-
August Date Transaction In Out Balance 01 Current Balance £ - £ - £ 500 01 Salary £ 1400 £ - £ 1900
01 Rent £ - £ 250.00 £ 1650
The balance column is worked out by the previous balance plus money in, minus money out.
I have a separate sheet for every month and carry forward the balance from the previous month into the current month.0 -
another option is Personal Accountz0
