Hi I have just bought a couple of tubs of Benecol spread from the local market. Can i freeze it? It was so much cheaper that the supermarket. So thought that i would put 1 in the freezer, then thought that i would ask you guys & gals if it could be frozen. Thanks.

Don't see why not. I freeze margarine, sunflower or olive spread and butter, I've never had a problem.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0

Doesn't it say on the container? I freeze Flora Pro-Activ and that seems to be fine.It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.:A :A :AChocolate is the answer and I don't give a damn whatthe question is.;)0

Hi, Thanks both of you. I did look to see if it could be frozen on the container but it didn't say it could be, just keep refridegerated. As DH has got a heart problem and has to come off butter and go on to Olivo or Benacol, etc, this find was a bargin. So its going into the freezer. I do usually freeze butter, marg etc, but didn't know if this froze ok. I shall go back to the market again next week to stock up for him. Thanks for your help.
Sorry i meant to say that i bought both the tubs for 1 pound each, instead of paying 3.68 for 500g for just 1 tub at Mr S. A bargin i would say. My keyboard is American, so no pound sign.20p savers club
