Early discharge on a VERY big debt

hi all,
most current posters wont remember me, Ive not been around since March but wanted to come by and tell of my ED on 5th Aug, 6 months to the day from BR date :j :T
I had a HUGE debt and like many other posters I see, I always thought I would be penalised much harder than others with lower debt and it was that that made me delay the BR so long and make it much worse for myself in terms of worry and making the pain last longer than it needed to.
So now I can safely tell others, the size of the debt doesnt affect the possibility of it all being over very quickly. Like others here, mine was life circumstances causing hell to my financial life and obviously on investigation, the OR realised the truth of that
so my reason for coming back today is to say please do not be put off from doing the deed merely by the same thoughts I had of how much you owe. It's only part of the story for most of us.
Good luck to all who are currently going through this horrible experience. From someone who is coming out the other side, I can promise it only gets better
And final thanks once again to all those who were here to help me through
with special mention to Richard S, DebtDoctor, Fermi and Tigerfeet.
Best Wishes
Lesley

That is fabulous news!

I'm really pleased for you.
That should give those fretting over the size of their debts some reassurance.

Lesley,

hi Finito
I got the usual letter saying they were considering me and I had to complete a new Income and Expenses, got that in early June just about 2 months before the ED. For me, the I&E is the same as it was in February so made it easy.
thanks to everyone for the good wishes

Phew, what a relief it must be.
I've just been made BR so I have it all to look forward to, but thanks for the post. It helps me to read something positive.0
