I normally trade ours in at Game or Gamestation. I don't know if there's much difference between the trade in values, but I normally base it against which of the two has the best price on the game I'm wanting to buy.
Kandipandi posted on another thread the other day that you can trade in at Grainger Games (if you're in the NE) and have the value back as cash.

hi there why not buy a m3 real card and down load games you need a m3 card and a micro sd card and then you can download a sell and then any games you want from mininova saves you a fortune please look at
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2728
and you can get any mirco sd from any where for about 10 pounds0 -
i would never trade games in a game or game station they give you next to nothing.you would be better off selling them on ebay.0

I'd try CEX if I were you. You can trade in online or check their prices on their website and then take them into one of the stores to save on the postage. They do say that the prices online may change when you go instore but they were the same for me. The bloke told me that they say that in case you leave it a week between checking the prices and coming in but if you check same day or day before, they'll most likely be the same price.
I also took my DS games to gamestation and they quoted me over a third LESS than CEX did so I'd went with CEX. Can't remember what their website is called but if you put CEX in google it should bring it up.0 -

That's a great money saving idea...steal someone else's copyright protected work by using an P2P network to illegally download gaming code and risk the potential of breaking UK copyright and theft laws as well as your ISP disconnecting you sometime soon.....might as well just post "Break into HMV overnight" as that is what is being suggested.
Not having a go, but this is a money saving website, not a theft website.
As for CEX (www.cex.co.uk) they do tend to offer more for trade-ins but if you take their credit note option you'll find their second hand games cost the same (if not more) than a new equivalent, so take the lesser amount in cash.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -
THANKS for all the information I have never even heard of CEX before but they do seem to offer good prices for the games.
THANKS AGAIN

mandy, also might want to check out

if your trading games, i think they give more cash than cex usually do. Otherwise if its easier to pop down to the high street, id try blockbusters games (i think they are specific games stores for blockbusters) who give ok prices trading in but then again the games you can trade in for are significantly cheaper.0 -
Try to avoid CEX mail order trade in , it works but takes weeks.
You always get more value if you trade stuff for more stuff. Game recently had an offer where you got even more if you traded in four items at once.
I`m not sure about selling DS games on Ebay, they charge even higher fees on electronic game sales. Unless they are very new or rare I think you will struggle to get more back after fees than a simple trade in for cash!
