My neighbour gets NOW and just gives me the voucher so I don't even have to buy the paper.
Don't forget there was also a coupon in today's NOW for a free book at redeemable at Tesco only. So not only do you get a fiver off your shopping you get something for nothing as well!!0 -
Just put the coupon partly into the slot but dont let go!Yes I used my clubcard.
Aw dear - the reason I asked is because the coupon slots in my nearest local were taped up after coupon abuse and I'm curious as to why you think this is OK to do, and that you don't expect repercussions....the most likely outcome is the coupon slots are taped up at your store spoiling it for yourself in the future and all the other people who use MOCS properly.
And why do people think the coupon slot is a black hole ?...It's not, coupons can be traced back to who used them, or who didn't post them....it's also one of the most watched/filmed areas by security in the store.
Using your clubcard with all your details on will just lead Tescos straight to you, I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't get a phone call soon.
I know it's easy to get caught up in the immediate money saving opportunity, esp in today's financial climate, but please think long term, for yourself and others.0 -
It is illegal to offer discounts and promotions on babys first milk , the price is not controlled by the government or anything to do with baby vouchers

I am fairly certain it is to do with not wanting to promote powdered milk as breast is best (AS I can tesitfy!!)I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
Did you tear the coupon out before you bought the paper and use it on the same shop? That to me is also a total no-no. (Sorry if I am mis-judging you on that one but I have read of other people doing that.)
Personally I don't have a problem with that
So long as you are buying the paper and have used the coupon legitimately I don't see there is one?
I didn't do it myself, but I have, in the past, (remember the £3 off dvds or summat on coco pops?) scanned a box of cereal and then when it is in my bag, ripped the 3 coupon off. Don't see the prob there really! Maybe it's just me!
Dont agree with sticking a £5 coupon in the slot and removing it tho. We could all do that with every coupon, and as someone said it is just going to make tesco clamp down moreI can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
I cut the coupons out in the shop as well and then buy the paper whats the problem with that?Did you tear the coupon out before you bought the paper and use it on the same shop? Can't see a problem so long as you pay for the paper.Recently Tesco were promoting the coupon and were actually cutting:T the coupon out for customers to use in same shop.Did you tear the coupon out before you bought the paper and use it on the same shop? That to me is also a total no-no. (Sorry if I am mis-judging you on that one but I have read of other people doing that.)0 -
Just put the coupon partly into the slot but dont let go!Yes I used my clubcard.
Presumably you pulled it out again so you could use it on the second lot of shopping. Thats theft - not just my 'opinion', its theft however you try to spin it. Its the same as pretending to put a £5 note through the money slot and then insisting to the CA that the machine has thown a wobbly and not accepted it. I don't know how you can possibly justify this - and using your card at the same time is as good as jumping up & down at the till telling everyone what you've done.
Not clever at all. Sorry - its unusual for me to be judgemental but this morning I will make an exception (excuse me while I stand well back waiting for the flack!)ELITE 5:2
