Remortgage

My 2 year fixed rate comes to end december, when should I start to look around for a remortgage?

Also if you go with a different lender, do you have to have them come out for a new valuation on the property?

thanks in advance for all replies

Now is a good time to start looking.

A sureby will be done by thenew lender - depending on the loan to value (mortgage value against property value) they may come round, they may do a desk top survey, or they may rely upon an automated valuation

Some re-mortgage deals will include this survey free - however with some lenders you will not get to see a copy of the free survey as it is for the lenders purposes only

I have just obtained a mortgage from the Nationwide and they did a "drive past" valuation.
