no thank goodness, only lost a chicken leg (one left in packet) and an ice cream. We have lovely neighbours who had a spare freezer so have nicked that for time being and most of the food was fine

Well i just did the Vernons thing via Quidco, spent all my £15 in 5 minutes and won ZILCH lmao. It was fun though. I'm just hoping it tracks now otherwise thats £10 down the drain. Thats my gambling money spent till the end of September, oh actually just realised i need to join a bingo site on MBM so it takes me upto £35 for a payout. I never like to spend more than £20 a month gambling.

You go Jen. Not long now......

I've slipped the last few months, but fingers crossed i will still be on track for December. As long as my debts gone by the start of 2009 i don't really mind.

are you doing one card at a time to get rid of your debt? or are you tackling the whole thing?

Thanks Jen. I was going to do bingocafe, but if they are taking forever i may try another. I just want to get my £35, then i prob wont use MBM again.
I'm just paying money to each debt each month, not really tackling any particular debt. I'd love to get rid of the Barclaycard as its the only debt that charges me £13 interest a month, but been paying more and more off Littlewoods lately as the minimum payment is more than usual. I must start paying £50 more every month to Barclaycard.

My parents have said to keep the money i owe them as in years to come it will be MY money anyway, i think my folks think they will drop down dead in a few years. They are only young still and i want them to have a really really nice holiday together, so i want to pay them back. Parents are silly.

    lol-bless parents !!
Mine lent me £1,500 years ago cant even remember what for and absolutely refused to have it back again. If they are really sure then accept their offer Hayley, i know it feels like you have sorta 'cheated' but you have done so well anyway-its their money and if they want you to have it now or later then so be it. They must have seen how well you are doing with money and know you wont waste it, perhaps save the same amount and then show them your statement so they know you have it safe and are saving for something specific.
Probably ignore this post as it doesnt make sense as ive just got up lol
