Does anybody know about Tesco clubcard points? I started to collect them recently, not collected many points so far, a big fat 247, but in August i received a voucher for £2 from them. I haven't spent it as i wanted to save the points and spend them on days out as i heard you get better deals. I got a receipt from Tescos tonight and it says my total points is now 47. I'm a little confused as i haven't used my voucher they sent me, so does that mean i have lost the points? or when the voucher expires will they put the points back on my card?

Any help would be appreciated guys
    xx

it is ok the voucher they sent you for £2 is worth 200 point so your new balance is 47 just keep the voucher somewhere safe till you need it and keep spending in tesco to get more points and more vouchers! it is worth 4x as much so £8!! i changed £2.50 tesco vouchers to yates £10 and me and dd had lunch saturday tesco is a good offer but confusing

Tesco's run the points in quarters, so they send you a statement every 3 months with your vouchers and then your total is zeroed and starts again.

This quarter started 27th July and will end 26th October so any points you get until then will be stored and then another voucher/s sent to you.

If you have a £2 voucher its worth £8 in deals so no don't spend instore, Tesco paid £580 towards my holiday in Bulgaria last year ;)

I have over £400 worth of deals already

This year i am going for a full freebie but i have a clubcard plus card (well worth getting) and paidtoshop.co.uk is really good for finding information on points glitches and bonus points.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm so silly lol. Right i must put that in a safe place i won't forget about. So my £2 is really worth £8 in deals, thats excellent. If only my folks did the shopping at Tesco and not Sainsburys, they could earn me loadsa points - ah well. I've just ripped out all the tokens they sent me and put them in my purse to earn me extra points. I think they have realised i LOVE smoothies and juice lol. I'm addicted to Innocent smoothies, but at £3.20 i must give up!

How do you go about getting a club card plus card?

Double Earn Points. Receive 2 points per pound on instore/online shopping paying by Tesco's little known Clubcard Plus account. It requires a standing order, but just do this for £1/month then top it up at customer services before each shop, as cash is immediately credited. Avoid going overdrawn though as the rate's not good! Applications are phone only, the official number is 08457 104 010 but you should be able to get through via freephone 0800 406050 too.

You use it to pay instead of cash/debit card card and they reward you with double points so if you spent £50 you would get 100 points instead of 50 ;)

As it says you need to set up a DD for as little as £1 a month then top up before you shop at CS (or you can transfer money in via your bank which is what i do) but the first time you top up it takes 24 hours to clear after thats its immediate.
