    well done Jen!!!

Just working out my money for jan and ive decided to put back £15 a month each for car tax and insurance- i paid a year of both in advance when i got my mini last month so i'm going to save up this year so i can afford to pay for both again next November without a shock bill just before xmas!Hopefully that will be an over estimation so the excess can come off the debt or go towards xmas next year.

know what you mean-my MINI tax is £210!! (trust me to want a car with high tax!) My 2000 w reg Micra 1.3 was about £120 a year. I think if its before March 2001 its cheaper?

I thought new cars were cheaper on the tax too, and smaller engines etc
