I want to save up for a DSLR plus a Lensbaby lens and a macro lens - that's probably about £1000 worth of equipment!

I get a Christmas bonus this month (£750 but it'll get taxed) and have been selling bits and pieces on eBay to make extra spending money. Starting January when I've recovered from Christmas, I'm going to be making some effort to save properly.

I get cashback through our employee discount site, which is pretty handy - I got £3 back on my train tickets home for Christmas :)

Morning everyone, thanks for the insurance advice maria & cl, I'll let you know how it goes. I have 4 years no claims now so I still wish it was cheaper lol. That's great on the bag, I got a £70 coat from H&M yesterday which was down to £30, my nan is buying me that for christmas too :D. I may already own 3 black felt coats though, but this one is double breasted so it's different :o. I knew you'd pay off the debt way earlier than your target mm :).

I'm full of good news today, work wasn't so bad, there was noone in the shop after 8.30 though (what a surprise). The two things that weren't paid for on etsy have been now, and I've sold another locket. That has taken me to £50.50 in paypal so I've withdrawn which means another £50 into my ISA when it arrives. Actually, I might put the money in the ISA now to satisfy myself lol. Oh, and I'm at £10 on one scratchcard so I can withdraw tomorrow AND it's my day off today :D.
    Finally bought a home
