keep going it feels good when it is done. I got an e mail saying i have done enough review i am going for the ipod though but not tonight also it will cover me if any of the reviews aren;t up to scratch!
I hope you get a good rate mm. is there anyone you know that could lend you the money? Why have you decided to try for the loan? i though you were happy to save up and know it is all yours. just wondering not shouting at all!! As long as you are sure about it, you get a good rate, your job is secure and you can meet the payments then it is fine.:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j

I did want to save up but at the moment car prices are lowering so think nows a good time to buy. Might mention it to my parents and see if they are in a position to lend to me but not sure I really want to do that. Don't want to borrow from the person who originally lent me the last lot coz I think he's lost money on the stockmarket recently.0

Hi scotslass, you can find the scratchcards on butlins bingo, littlewoods and take a break (there are more but its risky doing more tham one on butlins/littlewoods coz its the same group and you could lose your account if found out. I do butlins and Take a break because they are different groups.
What youy do is join the bingo site, deposit £10-do one free scratchcard (guaranteed to win at least 10p a day) giving you a positive balance enabling to carry on doing the cards and then with draw your original ten pounds. Usually there is no problem with withdrawing unless you're me in which case i always get asked for ID. You just need to scan and email or fax a copy of your driving licence/bank card and utility bill, however this is rare to be asked. The money is usually back in your acoount in 3-5 days.
Then you just carry on scratching until you get to £10.10p and withdraw your tenner again. I've got about £30 so far, i usually only get 10p or 20p but lots of people have got £5. There are sometimes double scratchcards(butlins and littlewoods) on certain days-always on a sunday but sometimes in the week as well.
Hope this makes sense!! i think there are other threads on this subject if you do a search :-)
Thanks for taking the time to post this mm - I'll do a search on this and let you know how I get on - thanks again :T0 -
Hi guys, thought I'd pop in and say hi cos I have been hiding for ages! And thanks for the PM Jen!
I have started my uni course and basically it has taken all my free time - they allocate how much time you should spend on different activities and basically it comes to 20 hours per week that we should be doing uni stuff, which on top of a full time job is slightly difficult! But it is really interesting so its only the assignments that I am struggling with!
Its amazing how well everyone is doing looking at the signatures, keep up the good work, it's obviously paying off! We have gone back into debt but it was planned so thats not too bad - had to pay £1000 for OH to get visa so he can apply for a british passport before we go back to Aus. Hoping to clear the last £700 with Decembers pay so we can be debt free by 2009 as originally hoped!
The only other problem is i accidently opened one of my OHs credit card statements thinking it was mine and was a little shocked to find it was £3500 balance instead of the £1000 he had promised me! I was just a little bit upset/annoyed/angry but we have had serious words and now have a plan so that it can be payed off by the time we leave the country next year!
anyway, enough rambling
I will keep lurking but will try to post occassionly when i sneak on between studying!
hope all is well with everyone
