    Morning all,

I've just been reading this thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=27967

It's about getting a tax rebate if you have a work uniform which you have to wash (and your workplace doesn't provide facilities for this). I think the uniform has to have some kind of logo on too, I'm not sure if it would help anyone here but you're allowed to claim up to 6 years back. My dad would never in a million years wear his uniform outside of work so I've written the letter and will send it today. The allowence has recently changed to £60 a year, it was £45 per year before that, so this could get my dad £300ish potentially :D.

Hopefully you'll be able to get something Yukki. At least you're finally getting your jewellery money mm, well done on your sale.

I got given a job in Boots, the interview wasn't that bad in the end. I am happy I guess, but I did hate working in Sainsbury's with a passion. It's only a 7 week contract, so hopefully the time will go quickly. It was SO hot in the store though, and the shirts are 100% polyester (nice), I was also told I'd probably have to work every Saturday. This wouldn't bother me so much but with my boyfriend working a normal 9-5 job and living 25 miles away it feels like I'm never going to get to see him :(. I guess I just need to think about the money...
