I understand that you place a bet on one side to win with one bookies and one for the opposing side to win with a different bookies but I don't get if u bet ur own money or if u get free bets for joining bookies?

the fish was not good very watery tasted funny and smelt odd so after my meal i told the waitress she took it to the kitchen came back said it was fresh and seemed ok to them but she said she would take it off my bill so i paid 45p for the bread and butter as i drank tap water very mse!

I'll try and explain it as simply as I can. You need to start with 2 different bookies, one to back the bet and the exchange bookie to lay the bet.

    For example

Bet £10 at coral on man utd to win
Bet £10 at Betfair on man utd to lose

That's the principle so whether it wins or loses you'll get the money back. The amount of money you get back depends on the odds you bet at each bookie
The idea is to use the spreadsheet you can download to put the figures in before you place a bet to see if you'll lose or make any money/

    Does that help?
There is more to it but I don;t want to confuse you. I could show you so easily but writing it down isn;t as easy lol
