That's rubbish Hayley, I wish people would be nice or keep quiet. Just ignore them like everyone else has said.

My view of my debt has changed a bit. I've basically decided not to pay my student loan off until I have to...there is reasoning behind this, honest. If I get the job I'm after I'll only be about £500 above the repayment threshold, so I'll be paying back peanuts. I'm making more by keeping my money in my ISA than I'll be losing in interest payments, so soon I'll have a big lump sum in there. I've realised that the last thing I'll probably want to do with the money I've saved hard for is to use it to pay off a 0% loan. So, for that reason it has now become my house deposit. I'm aiming to fill my ISA every year for a while and then save some more, though I obviously need to pay my overdrafts off so I'm getting a bit ahead of myself, that said they are tiered so I only have to pay back another £1200 by August anyway.

I've just completed my second review of the day :D.
    Finally bought a home

Missed the £2.50 mini post - thanks yukki !keyrings about all I can afford at the mo!
good call on the loan nicki- def the right thing to do I reckon.

Decided from now I'm going to keep a record of how much 'free money' I'm getting starting from today- will leave it in my current account as it gets 8% interest at the mo and I won't be penalized like I would if I withdrew it from my ISA.
Will be interesting to see how much I can get!

  • Evening all,

I've been looking at Threadless and really want this tshirt:
    http://www.threadless.com/product/160/Puppet_Ballet

My justification being that I don't yet own a pink tshirt. Then again I spent £34 on M+M direct at the weekend so I feel a bit naughty... I am desperate for clothes though, I've been feeling like a right mess lately.

MM: which account gives 8%? that's a really good rate. I don't think my current account pays anything.
