Nicholette - what are the early repayment fees for your car loan? You need to compare that with how much interest you will save if you pay it off early instead of letting it run its course.
I'm not sure if this is a reasonable option, but what if you paid it off your overdrafts so that you get the psychological benefit of seeing the overdraft come down, and then when you had enough, pay the car off from your overdraft? This would probably not be the most profitable way of doing it as you would miss out on the interest from the ISA but if you feel that you need the psychological help this may be a middle ground? I don't like the idea of taking any money out of ISAs but if you aren't going to get to your £3600 then I suppose it isn't too bad.
The main thing is that you do what you feel is going to be best for YOU in the long term - if that is by gettting the psychological boost of paying off the overdraft then that's your best way forward.
Sorry if that doesnt make much sense! Good luck making the decision though!

Oh, I forgot to mention - we paid off the credit card yesterday. Got bond back from the previous landlord (only 2/3 of what we were expecting so I'm fuming but at least it was enough to repay the CC). DFD 12th Sept!
Very proud of us!!!! Probably only going to last until the end of this month but we can enjoy it while it lasts!Moved back to Australia March 2010
