oh mm it is so exciting being so close to debt free
i have been carrying my debt since 2000 and i hate seeing the direct debt any letters from them made me feel sick the debt was inforced for claiming benefits while i had savings the savings were in my mums name with mine under it as it was in trust for when i was 21 years old and i was only 20 but department of work and pension were having none of it and threaten to lock me up for benifit fraud a very very scary time! the debt was a scary 21k but my mum let me have the money in trust to pay some off

oh i can't want for it to go

I have about £9 in MBM but can't see any deals worth doing as all other cashback sites are better, i have £10 in greasypalm too, need to find £15 on there to get it out though.

well it hurts to think if they hadn't stung me i would have had £21k from trust and i have paid £5k off myself so £26k it will take a long time to get it all back but i CAN and WILL do it. going to leave it broken down into years but my aim is to get £26k!! will take years so going for £3,600 a year. i am not going to look back at it agian as it has caused me to be very depressed in the past.
hopefully from friday it will be gone paperwork sorted and got rid of into the attic and a clean slate!! never going to think or talk about it again!!

onto saving i am going to save £25 a week from my wages (unless my hours get reduced) so £100 a month i am aiming for every month so 8 months till april ish £800 if i can do it that will be fab added to the £1,200 that is currantly locked up till april i will have £2,000 to go into the isa

    night lilmiss,
Yep put it behind you Jen , you're still young and now you have the willpower and the knowledge to save up for your own deposit, lock that paperwork away never to be seen again!
