Council tax arrears from previous property

We owe about £200 in council tax arrears from our old flat that we moved out of in April- it's a diferent LA to the one we live in now and we are up to date with current payments for this LA. Can these arrears be added to our BR debts or are council tax arrears exempt from BR?
Thanks

Thanks again guys- although i do feel a bit guilty...
Writing off debt from big multi-nationalbanks that are probably investing your grans lifesavings in the slave trade is one thing, but writing off money to the council is something else entirely- i don't feel like my fellow tax payers should be subsidising us really (especially given my wages come out of the budget for this particular LA!)
He-ho, I won't be losing sleep over it though, far more things to worry about at the mo!

Well consider tax in general as something akin to the following, and you'll see why I feel less guilty; 1% goes to the poor, disabled and elderly, 59% to war, and 40% to MP mortgages and plasma tvsDebts incurred through illness and homelessness, starting a degree in September, going bankrupt in November and having a well deserved fresh start in January 2009! Bring on the new year! Interested in thrifty living, and if its green all the better for it! xxx0
