Getting along nicely.

I posted here a few months ago when I was in a dark dark place. I had some top advice from some of the posters on here, and the support was tremendous!
I am now over 4 months into my BR. I had a 15 minute phone interview with the OR who was also brilliant. He has written to me just the once so far to ask for more payslips.
So far, no mention of an IPA or a BRU, though I appreciate there is time for this still if they decide it's needed. However, my surplus each month is a lot less than £99, and I think I would be VERY unlucky to get a BRU.
My Doc sorted me out with anti depressants, the phone has stopped ringing, the letters have stopped and I feel like my life has started again. My children are the happiest they have been for years, and simply because they have their old man back!!
No more drink (well, only a social pint or two now!) and no more drugs. I am clean, I am free and I am one happy little bunny.
I just wanted to thank all those posters on here that helped me through the BR minefield:beer:
And for anyone thinking of going down the BR route and feeling a bit scared, do not be. Unless you are a fraudster, most OR's are human and have seen and heard it all before. They are not trying to punish you, but they have a duty to recover as much as they can for your creditors. However, they will not leave you destitute. My one bit of advice for dealing with your OR is to be be honest and answer their questions truthfully. Don't expand to much on your answers and don't waffle. If a question can be answered with a simple yes or no, then use a simple yes or no!
This feeling you get when you have your life back is one I had forgotten even existed. I suspect this is what life was like before I got so head over heels into debt.
You to can be as happy as I am. The help and support you will get absolutely free from the posters on this forum has to be the best there is. No one knows it like those of us that have lived through it.
Be strong, do the deed, and regain your old debt free life, it's the best.:A

Hi Finito,
Delighted to hear that all is going well, and you've started to get your life back on an even keel.
It's a monumental step to take, but sometimes circumstances call for drastic measures.
