I think our rented flat is up for sale - advice please

Ive posted a few times on this forum & know the advice you give is really helpful.
Anyway wa just writing about the positives on renting, when I did I quick search on how much house prices are in my area. Anyway I came across the flat we are currently living in up for sale. It doesnt say the flat number, but I recognise the decoration & furniture.
Should I phone the estate agent to find out what the number of the flat up for sale is? Im really stressed now. This is really cr*p, we were going to put up the flat pack this week, now we are off work.
Any advice?

I presume you have a six month contract.
The EA you called - is it the same agent that you did the letting through. If not, speak to the letting agent.
You are protected through your contract, however, there have obviously not been any viewings for a sale since you have been in there.
In today's market its not that unusual for a property to be for sale/and rent. But the sale marketing is usually stopped when a tenant goes in.0 -

You must check your contract asap and get onto your agents.

The letting agent is different. In fact its a completely different Estate Agents.
No there hasnt been any viewings. I did ask the estate agent if Landlord had a buy to let morgage before I signed contracts & was told that they did. (only because of reading this forum)

Don't be upset - you have a contract and are protected. Read your contract and call the agent in the morning.0 -

What is the notice given for possesion of the property recovered on ground 2 of part 1 of the schedule 2 housing act 1988?0 -
You are there for 12 months then and they can't even come in for viewings at all. They can write to you, with 24 hours' notice, ASKING to do a viewing... and you can tell them to sling their hook legally.
It's a b4st4rd though, you don't want to be making up your flatpack furniture knowing you've got to undo it again perhaps to move it.
On the plus side, maybe nobody wants to buy it anyway. You might never get asked for access for a viewing.
What sort of flat is it?

He will have to give you notice to quit 2 rent days before the end of your 12 months is up on your AST. So once you've been there 10 months. Although check your paperwork for the Section 21 Notice, which might have been sneaked into your paperwork. But, again, if it's there, it might be invalid.
If he's a day late ... it's invalid.
HAS to be 2 full rent periods.0 -
dont fret - you have security of tenure for the 12 months - unless your LL is about to be repossessed.0
