My spirits need lifting because there's still 39 minutes of work left before I can go home and relax with a pink gin. So I'm thinking of my favourite things which cost (almost) nothing.
1. Getting into a bed made with freshly laundered cotton sheets, which were dried on the washing line, after having enjoyed a nice hot bath with lavender and papaya bathbomb, scented candles, a large glass of wine (important to bathe the inside as well as the outside:rotfl:),a calming CD playing and nice, soft fluffy towels.
2. Snuggling up on the sofa with OH, on a Suaturday afternoon, wrapped up in a big duvet, listening to the rain lashing against the window, watching Bette Davis films.
3. Ringing Church Bells
4. Climbing Lake District fells on cold winter's mornings, and watching the sun burn off the mist from the meadows.
5. Singing with my Barbershop Quartet at garden parties on summer's evenings hearing those exquisite harmonies carry away on the breeze.
Right - that's me!
What can you lot come up with?

I love:
1) Getting into a bed with clean sheets, clean hair and new PJs on
2) Having a duvet day, when you know you dont have to be anywhere, staying in your PJs all day, not worrying about hair/make up, watching all the old films you love
3) Spending time playing with my cats. They are very very entertaining and very giving.
4) Having Mondays off on occasion, the fab feeling on Sunday night when I realise I have an extra lie in!

lol - love the loo with no kids!
Mine:
- having got myself into gear, walking around the local nature reserve with my dog at my heels
- Having my one on one at choir / singing my solo at our concerts
-Spending hours curled up at the PC chatting on MSE!!
- Shutting the curtains and snuggle up on the sofa with a drink watching repeats of House while OH is out
-Reading in the bath
-Waking up on a Saturday morning and remembering that this is the Saturday I had planned a lie-in, and then snuggling back down into the duvet while listening to OH mowing the lawn outside
-using the bbq in the summer to cook something I'd already planned to cook, i.e baked potatoes and chops
oooh the list goes on and on! xxPersonal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

Ahhh, I'm with you on the bedsheets and washing line thing....bliss!
For me it would have to be lying in bed on a sunday morning, being able to hear hubby downstairs with the kids, knowing that I dont have to get up....bliss! (even better would be the smell of bacon wafting up the stairs too....)
Lying on the settee watching tv with the cat snuggled up on me....I reckon if she could type that would be one of her blissfull things too :rotfl:
getting into a nice hot bath with my ipod, a beer and no kids...and knowing that I don't have to get out for a very.....very....long time!
I'm sure theres more, right now its pretty quiet in my household as the 2 youngest monsters have fallen asleep. Now that is bliss....96 items decluttered so far in 2013
