Hi
Thinking of doing a day trip to Belfast with 2 year old, 6 year old and 8 year old mainly to go to W5.
Any suggestions on where to eat. We love the Red Panda but not sure if we would get enough peace to enjoy it so don't want to spend a bunch on food

Pizza express on dublin or liburn road normally have lots of families in. They do a kids menu. They also take hi life card if you have one, but only for 1 free main course.0

Tony Romas seem to have plenty of families in too.0

There's a pizza hut in Odyssey complex too, or there's a burger place next door to Streat in the complex, which the kids love as there are sort of booth seats you can sit in. If you're coming on a Saturday morning, my kids LOVE the St Georges Market which has food stalls like a crepe stall, burgers, chinese food, indian food etc, all fresh made in front of you and quite cheap. The atmosphere there is fabulous, there is always some sort of entertainment, bands or the likes and it's really buzzing - I recommend it more than a high street eatery.Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T0

Burger place in Odyssey is Soda Joes. Which is good for the price and child friendly. Also they take Tesco Clubcard deals.
You can come out of W5 have your meal and go back into W5.0 -
Would def recommend the market above the others. Lots of choice for everyone and a great atmosphere...0

Can second the recommendation of Pizza Hut at the Odyssey - very handy for W5, and do a lunch buffet (if it's lunch you're planning to have there) with pizza, pasta, salads etc - and will do particular pizzas for the buffet if you make your preferences known (in the past when we've gone with various groups they've done lots of pepperoni pizza for us, or lots of vegetarian ones, or plain ones, etc). We're there regularly and they're very kid-friendly. The buffet is about £3 for a child, though I think your two-year-old would be free. I think adults are £5.49. Excellent value, and everyone can eat what and as much as they like.0

there is a place in Victoria square shopping centre, it is called spur, great for kids as it has a playroom with playstations in it at the back of the restaurant, the playroom has cctv and the monitors for the cctv are dotted around the restaurant so you can see your kids all the time, the prices are good and the food is great too, steaks, chicken and a good kids menu.0

The nicest restauarnts in odyssey are Budda {takes longer but food is fresh} and Red Panda, and Indian Ocean, though kids might not appreciate it, think pizza hut in the odyssey is your best bet
soda joes is hit and miss for food quality and service
and i go against that spur, its not cheap, been twice and service and food was poor so wont go back. the pictures on the menu looked 100 times better than what we got,
W5 is a must, hours of entertainment and it is good that you can get a pass go out for food then go back in.0 -
