How much do they know?????

May seem a silly question, but as I have 7 credit cards, does one card company know how much I owe on the card for another company???? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I believe that a credit card company can have a look at your credit file, which will then show them what you owe on other cards, etc.

A credit card company will only have access to information that you provide, or what is available on your credit file. Your credit file will show a lot of information including other debts inc who with and their balances/limits, repayment history, previous addresses etc.

Thanks WhoopieDoodle/immoral_angeluk....I thought as much. They can see what is happening to me and I bet they are running a book as to when i will "cave in"....:mad:
