Couldn't wait till tonight so did online shop. Costing £21.38. Very pleased with myself, however it doesn't include meat and veg as that's coming from GG and butcher. That should be it for the day.

The advantage for me is that I work from home, so don't get tempted to go shopping in lunch hour.
    October make £10/day currently £11.02
  • Have sent 5p on milk today and it should do my cereal in work for the rest of the week. I know 5p but is was because I was able to take back 2 glass bottles of juice which gave me 40p to spend.. wouldn't have taken these back before, even though it is better for the environment too. So saved myself 40p! :rotfl:

  • Spent £4 in Poundstretcher, £3 in Peacocks on some socks for DS1, got a REFUND of £2.10 in Budgens for some jaffa cake muffins I bought the other day that were 5 DAYS out of date!!!  Can you believe it?? My kids ate them as well, it was only cos while I was eating mine and I thought 'blimey this tastes stale' that I checked the dates!!

Anyway, mum was visiting and she paid for a pair of shoes I was gonna buy myself, so that's £13 saved (me and my expensive taste eh? )
She paid for lunch too bless her! :o

Nothing as yet, but am meeting a friend for a drink tonight, so maybe £10.00

Sold my i-pod last night for £160, and made about £100 on ebay items (although they didnt sell for much else, should have started them at a higher price!!), so thats good. Although had to pay another £50 to get bailiffs to go and visit the ebay scammer, to hopefully try and get my money back, fingers crossed I do as I have since spent £80 in court fees!!

Its 4 weeks til payday (counting down the days already, thats usually a bad sign!!)

    :0) xx
  • Two Drinks and a cake at Patisserie Valerie (Very expensive) £10.
Kit Kat and can of drink - 85p
Will get some breadrolls for Lunch tomorrow and milk on the way home from work so it will be another £1.
  • all i can say is OUCH

i spent £47.43 on my main grocery shop for the month today - almost half my months budget for groceries gone, but thats ok because all i need to buy for the rest of the month is bread and milk mostly.

ALSO spent £30 on filling up the car with petrol. on target for sticking to my fuel budget so thats ok

i hate spending money so much since i found this site lol

anyway will not be spending anything again now till next monday so its not so bad.

Spent 32p on fruit for work. Free piano lesson tonight so that's it!

But last night spent £20.11 at Tesco - which is technically over budget (that's £15). HOWEVER, £4.95 of that was for their cheap truffles which are finally back in stock and are for cheap Xmas pressies. So it kinda was under budget!

AND I spent £2.56 on make-up remover I've been doing without for weeks, and £3.98 on anti-frizz conditioner, so really I spent £8.62!!

    Am I making excuses here?

I bought the kids a pair of pyjamas each which came to £9 in total, 53p on a packet of cough sweets (I've been up all night with a cold and been coughing my head off all night), £1.40 on a Big Issue magazine (I enter all the comps), 40p on a birthday card for my cousin and £1 on loo rolls.
