Body Shop parties Vs Ann Summers parties

Which do you think is more profitable?

I was thinking, there are lots of Body Shop stores and there is no stigma or embarrassment about going into them, whereas Ann Summers, you can relax more in your own home if you're nervous about the toys in particular and are more likely to buy something.

Which would you recommend and why?

I have done both and agree with your above comments. Ann Summers was easier to make more money out of but was actually tricky to get parties booked for. Whereas Body Shops was a little easier to get parties but people spent a lot less.

Which ever you go for, you need to be tough in getting parties and quite pushy. You need to make money after all as it does not come to you. (not easily anyway!)

You could do both (I did), after doing AS for a while I took on BS at the same time. Unknown to both companies I did very occasionally, do both at the same time (strictly for friends, not unknown clients) so people could top up makeup whilst playing with the rubber toys!

ive done both i would say ann summers is the best as i couldnt get any bodyshop parties but i still get fone calls for ann summers and i havent done it for over a year the only problem with ann summers is you have to pay a kit renter if you leave the kits has to go back. But with the bodyshop you pay out right for your kit so if you leave its your to keep tbh im looking into stringfellow atm so tht could b worth a look in to. This link may help it has loads of helpfull infor on most party planning

    hope tht helps
  • I've also done both and still doing the Body shop. I find that the body shop is easier to get parties because you can post adverts anywhere and ask anyone where as with Ann Summers its harder as people are a lot more prude and embarrased about it. There is a lot more recognision as a consultant with the BS too as you get loads of free products each month while you don't with AS. If you want anymore info on joining let me know!! xx

I've been to a few of both at mates houses - they average about £50 at Bodyshop and £200 at Ann Summers so the later is definately more worthwhile
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • how about do both, with a discount for people who stay on for the adult themed sale?
